Korean Palace

This palace is called Gyeongbok Palace. To give a little history... It was the main and largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty and one of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. It was really an interesting place to visit. We got there just in time for the changing of the palace guards (second picture). The kids got in on the action and tried on the guard's hats. Next is a picture of the king's throne. Then, just before we left we asked David to take a picture of us since our pictures are usually of the kiddos and he took a really good picture of us in between the king's living quarters and the queen's living quarters. There are more pics of this trip on the next post since there wasn't enough room on this one for all the pictures.
